Levittown Honors Veterans

American Legion Post 1711 recently held a Veterans Day ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park in Levittown. Of those in attendance were veterans, local residents, the Levittown Fire Department and Wantagh Levittown Ambulance Corps.

American Legion Past Commander Henry Tu lead all in the Pledge of Allegiance and Commander Tom Flaherty led the troops to the ceremonies at Memorial Park. The ceremony was a fitting way to pay tribute to those who have served our country.
