The Woman, The Garden, In Art
This program presented by Louise Cella Caruso features unforgettable paintings that portray the elegance, mystery, and beauty of the gardens that led the women in the paintings to them. In this powerpoint presentation you will see paintings by Homer, Gauguin, Botticelli, Monet, Hiroshige II, E.B. Jones, J.W. Waterhouse, J.H. Fragonard, J.B. Lepage, P. de Hooch, Caillebotte and more. Free Christmas Concert
The Choir of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church will present its annual Christmas Concert at 7 p.m., featuring a program of Orthodox and Western hymns and carols. Holiday Gift Series: CD Wall Art
Hand-made gifts are the best gifts. Recycle CDs into a three-piece wall hanging. From 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at the LPL. Must register.

Holiday Cards for Hospitalized Kids
Use the equipment in the Innovation Station to brighten the day of a hospitalized kid and receive community service time. From 3 to 5 p.m. at the LPL. Must register.

Come and learn the art of paper folding and make different creations. For grades K-6 at 4:30 p.m. at the LPL.

The Engel’s Fourth Annual Holiday Fundraiser
Please join the Engel family for hot chocolate, coffee (donated by Starbucks), candy canes and Santa. Money will be collected to donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Unwrapped toys will also be collected to donate to the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. There will be a special holiday performance by Ella Marie Dance Studio as well as a visit from Santa and the Levittown Fire Department. From 5 to 9 p.m. at 7 Coachman Lane in Levittown.

Good Shepherd’s 2016 Holiday Craft Fair
Once again, the Church of Joy will be hosting its annual Indoor Holiday Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3434 Hempstead Tpke., Levittown.


Levittown Community Council
The Levittown Community Council meets the fourth Monday of every month at the Levittown Public Library at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and free.

Kindergarten Registration
Attention parents of 5 year olds. If you have  a child (children) residing in the Levittown School District who was (were) born between Dec. 2, 2011 and Dec. 1, 2012, they will be eligible for kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year. Contact Arlene Mege at 516-434-7058, central registration, at Levittown Memorial Education Center to place your name on the list to receive a kindergarten package for registration. All packages will be mailed out the beginning of January 2017.
